"It's a Baby Boy" 12x12 Scrapbook Page Layout using Cricut

Here is a 12x12 scrapbook page layout that I did using Cricut cartridge "New Arrival". I cut out the "It's a Boy", baby feet, bottle, and the onesie. This is an older cartridge but I still really like it. I first cut a shadow of each of the images then the original cut. I used little ink around the edges for a little extra effect. Paper used was just misc that I had. Just have to add couple pics! Have a great Saturday!

Stampin Up Valentine Treat Box

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Here are my little Valentine's Treat Boxes. This little box matches the Happy Valentine's Day card that I created a post below this one. These cute boxes are created from the Stampin Up Big Shot #2 die. I saw this on (Angie) Chic'nScratch blog and just had to create some of these for Valentine's. You can view Angie's video on how to create these here. I used DCWV glittered paper, red cardstock, Valentine's Day cut out from The Slice. I just cut some red and white cardstock and just scrunched it all up. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Valentine's Day "Changito's Love Balloon" Handmade Card

Wow, its been awhile. In October I delievered a healthy boy and he is now almost 4 months old. Time flies! He sure is growing fast ok here is a Happy Valentine's Day "Changito" Handmade Card I created. I love Changito stamps. In creating this card I used Mojo Monday Sketch #177. I used prismacolored pencils with gamsol in coloring the image as well as spellbinder round and scallop die. I used paper from DCWV "The Sweet Stack" and "Doodlin Around". Red cardstock, prismacolored pencils were dark brown, terra cotta, light peach, and crimson red. I used gamsol to blend. Added a couple pink prima flowers and some bling. Lastly the stamps used were from Stampendous Changito's Love Balloon and Happy Valentine's Day.

Stampin' Up Fancy Favor Halloween Treat Boxes

I just love the Stampin'Up Fancy Favor Bigz XL Sizzix Die! Perfect for treat bags for the holidays, birthday parties, weddings, and showers. I have used the Stampin' Up fancy favor sizziz die thru my cuttlebug. I used black cardstock, orange ribbon, and these cute Halloween Pumpkin and Friends Cardstock Die-Cuts from K&Company. One side of the die cuts are glittered. I used pop-ups to give some dimension. I was surprised as how much candy these little boxes can hold. Have a great Sunday!

This little bear is so cute. This image is a freebie from Dustin Pike. I used halloween glittered cardstocks, ribbon, and prima flowers. Used colored pencils and OMS to color the image. Created pumpkin 3D with glittered added.

Flower Pot Card

 


Happy Saturday!

I've been wanting to create a flower pot card so here is my take on my very first flower pot card. I just love these. These could get very addicting to make LOL. I followed Stephanie Luman's tutorial from splitcoaststampers site.

I distressed a little around the flower pot. Used cuttlebug folder for the dots on the flower pot. Added my flowers and ribbons.

Isn't this little guy just so cute? I love this digital stamp image from Doodle Palace. Doodle Palace will be releasing new digital images on Tuesday, July 28th including this adorable frog image. I also used a sketch from this weeks Doodle Palace's challenge.

I colored the image with colored pencils and OMS. Created some blue clouds in the background,ribbons, and a prima flower.

This is a Doodle Palace sneak peek of their new release that will be on Tuesday July 21st. This little snake is so cute. I colored the image with colored pencils and OMS. I also sprayed glitter mist for a little sparkle that you might not be able to see in the photo. I also added Thankssss which is just simply computer generated.

Using StampScapes Stamps

 

While in Tennessee I visited the Scrapbook Store and just had to purchase some StampScapes stamps and give them a try. So for my first image I applied ink by using a brayer and then created this image using Lakeside Cabin, Lilly Grass, Oak Tree Small, Geese in Flight, and bear stamps.

For the second attempt I used stampscapes stamps Cabin, Pine Row, Oak Tree Small, Geese in Flight, Cattails, Lilly Grass, and Buck Stamps in creating the second image.


I cant wait to create more images/cards using these stamps. They are so easy to use and they work perfectly together mixing and matching to create beautiful backgrounds.

I'm Back

Sorry for having not posted for awhile. My grandpa unexpectedly passed away on June 28th and then we went down to Douglas Lake & Pigeon Forge, TN area for a little get away.

I have received some new digital stamp images from Dee and Robin from Doodle Palace that will be releasing this Tuesday, July 7th. I am hoping to maybe have at least one image completed tomorrow evening *crossing my fingers* You will love these images they are all so cute. I hope you all had a wonderful, safe July 4th.
