Flower Pot Card

Happy Saturday!

I've been wanting to create a flower pot card so here is my take on my very first flower pot card. I just love these. These could get very addicting to make LOL. I followed Stephanie Luman's tutorial from splitcoaststampers site.

I distressed a little around the flower pot. Used cuttlebug folder for the dots on the flower pot. Added my flowers and ribbons.

Using StampScapes Stamps

While in Tennessee I visited the Scrapbook Store and just had to purchase some StampScapes stamps and give them a try. So for my first image I applied ink by using a brayer and then created this image using Lakeside Cabin, Lilly Grass, Oak Tree Small, Geese in Flight, and bear stamps.

For the second attempt I used stampscapes stamps Cabin, Pine Row, Oak Tree Small, Geese in Flight, Cattails, Lilly Grass, and Buck Stamps in creating the second image.

I cant wait to create more images/cards using these stamps. They are so easy to use and they work perfectly together mixing and matching to create beautiful backgrounds.

Thanks for stopping by

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I picked up some fresh blueberries and wanted to make some blueberry muffins. I went to allrecipes to begin my search. I came across this recipe "To Die For Blueberry Muffins", submitted by Colleen. I read the reviews and knew I had to try these this morning. These wonderful blueberry muffins are right out of the oven. They do have a little crunch topping to them resulting in the little darker coloring on the top of the muffin. After letting them cool just enough to where I could sample one and they are so good. If you like blueberry muffins, give this recipe a try. They are so easy to make too. I would also like to make this recipe into a bread using a bread pan. The topping gives that little crunch and with the sugar and cinnamon, just tops it all off lol. If you are not a sweet person, these muffins would also be great without the topping as well. I followed the recipe just as is written.

Ok, here is where you find the recipe.Submitted by Colleen on All Recipes, To Die For Blueberry Muffins.

Hanna Stamps "Hammock Riley" & SC232 Sketch

Happy Saturday! Boy what a week. I was not able to create cards this week, like I had hoped for. I was able to create this cute card using Hanna Stamps with Hammock Riley taking it easy on the beach. I also used SC232 Sketch from SplitCoastStampers. I added a few extras. I created clouds using a scallop edge and colored the image with colored pencils and OMS. Glazed and glittered the entire image. Paper that I used was from the DCWV summer stack.
